Licences and approvals

Credentials support the operation; every flight is still assessed for the location, airspace, weather and people nearby.
Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operator’s Certificate
AeroLens operates under ReOC number 9166.
Remote Pilot Licence and AROC
Licensed for remotely piloted aircraft under 25 kg and holds an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate for aviation radio communications.
Certified thermographer
Thermal imaging work is supported by formal thermography certification, with findings reported within the limits of the inspection and available evidence.
Construction white card
General construction induction training completed for work on construction sites, subject to site induction, access and safety requirements.
RPA noise approval
AeroLens holds approval under regulation 16A(3) of the Air Navigation (Aircraft Noise) Regulations 2018 for the operations described in its departmental self-assessment. It is valid until 10 August 2027 and subject to its stated conditions: no RPA over 150 kg and no ongoing noise impact at the same noise-sensitive site.
These credentials do not remove the requirement to comply with CASA rules, operational approvals and site-specific restrictions.
